Digital Design Internship at Gisou
Gisou is a beauty brand founded by beauty influencer Negin Mirsalehi. The brand mainly focusses on hair care and debuted with their Iconic Honey Infused Hair Oil. Now their range of products includes the Honey Infused Hair Perfume and Honey Infused Lip Oil amongst others.
Icons Redesign
During my digital design internship (2023), I was given the chance to create a few concepts for the re-designing of theLoyalty Programme Icons. I created two concepts displayed here based on Gisou’s bee centered concept and playful branding.
To create these concepts I performed a thorough research of what other similar and non-similar brands have done with their icons. I compiled my research in mood boards and made a presentation for the creative team at Gisou to explain my design choices. The two concepts you see displayed here are the final ones that were most favoured by the team.
Tools I used are Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Figma.

Campaigns
& Newsletters
During the internship I collaborated closely with the Senior Designer to update Gisou’s landing pages for seasonal campaigns, design the accompanying newsletters and paid ads. We exclusively used Figma for these tasks, using features such as component creation to streamline our workflow and ensure consistency across all designs.
Here you can see an overview of the Golden Shimmer Glow Campaign Landing Page optimized for both desktop and mobile.
Below you can see the email newsletter designs optimized for both mobile and desktop for the Golden Shimmer Glow Campaign. Fully created in Figma with the help of auto-layout.
Paid Ads Meta & Google
For the creation of Paid Ads for Google and Meta I worked closely with the Creative Lead and marketing team. For the design and animation of the ads, we mainly used Figma plugins. This helped us keep consistency across assets that belonged to the same campaign. I was given creative liberty to an extend with the animations and how I thought best the visual assets could be composed in relation to each-other. Further more I adapted the designs for multiple different ad sizes across Meta and Google as you can see here below.
